More Ramblings

Hi All- Well Margie's step-daughter and two girls didn't get to come for Easter dinner as planned. Anna got another stomach virus and had to go to the DR. We went to Sunrise Service and then shared in a potluck breakfast. There is a sister and brother that walk about 3 miles to church or if lucky get dropped off by their dad. Dad works the 11pm to 7am shift cooking at I-Hop and doesn't come to church. Their mother lives in another state so they are left to fend for themselves a lot of the time. Michael is 15 and Brittany is 14. They are pretty good kids considering everything. Well, to make a long story shorter, we invited them over for Easter dinner. They enjoyed the dinner and Brittany asked if she could have some of the leftovers to take home. I don't think they can depend on three square meals a day. She went home with lots of goodies. Margie fixed two more bags of "treasures" for them so they could do the Treasure Hunt she had planned for Anna and Kayla. They were very excited to find their treasure. We took them home around 3:30pm and their dad still wasn't home but they could get in the house. So Easter tuned out pretty nice for all concerned.
